Welcome to Midweek Makers! Hope your ready to share your projects today, and share your dogs on quilts tomorrow - I can't wait for both parties!
I'll have a new puppy to share, plus a few giveaways. While we wait for that, I need your help.
Over the past 4-6 weeks, I've had issues with my blog post pictures randomly not showing up in my Bloglovin daily digest, or in the post listings on the main Bloglovin site. For those of you who follow me through Bloglovin, are you seeing the pictures from my posts in the Bloglovin daily digest?
Bloglovin has not responded to my help requests, and we're at a dead end as to how to solve this issue. Which makes me wonder - is it just me that's not seeing them, or is every follower not seeing the pictures too? Any feedback you can give will help!
With those bits of housekeeping out of the way, let's take a look at some of the finishes that caught my eye last week.
From Grace and Peace Quilting, this lovely QOV,
from Donnalee Quilts, a long awaited Drummer Boy finish,
and this fun car quilt from Melva Loves Scraps.
Now it's time for this week's sharing - come link up your quilt project!
- please link directly to your post
- please link a quilt related item
- visit with the others and leave some comment love
Thanks, Susan, for featuring the QOV that I quilted for Karen! I checked out your blog on bloglovin' and it was the same for me--only random photos after July 23rd. Honestly, I prefer to go directly to websites and don't go to the BL site very often. Wow, a new puppy?! For real? I'm waiting for it!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're linking up our DOGS tomorrow?! I had no idea that International Dog Day was a thing. I'm looking forward to seeing that new puppy of yours, Susan!
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue with pictures, and for some reason, a lot of thumbnails have stopped appearing on the sidebar, too. I'm sure it's a technical thing that got messed up by another technical thing. I seldome go to the BL site, though, so not much issue. I can see them on your site just fine! Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteI usually scroll through BL because I have a few blogs there that don't come to my email feed. I pulled your post up from there - it doesn't have a photo, just a gray square.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is not showing on bloglovin this morning. I'm sure this is a very frustrating situation for you. I hope it can be fixed soon. Actually, when I saw it was from you, I clicked. I had to go back and see if there was a picture. lol Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI do not use bloglovin. I have feedly reader where I can keep all the blogs that I read and it updates several times a day - I do not normally subscribe to blogs but by using feedly you click on the blog that has been updated and go directly to the blog to read the post. By doing this I am seeing all of your post and all the photos. Feedly reader has a free version and a paid version. I have been using the free version for quite a few years now and have no problems with it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see your photo today in the bloglovin daily digest.
ReplyDeleteI am getting your emails from follow.it fine. A new puppy - how fun! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI didn't see a thumbnail pic on BL today, but can still get to your site through BL.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been seeing your thumbnail pics on Bloglovin but can still get to your post by clicking on the picture-less link.
ReplyDeleteI dislike the bloglovin site because they put their banner over the top. Very hard to get rid of, so I rarely go to the bloglovin site. I signed up for your follow-it and that has been working perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI am using Follow.it for your blog and that has been working fine.

Hello There! I also seldom use Bloglovin'. I prefer services that send the post directly to my email. I also use follow.it and that's I enjoy your posts! I liked up to Midweek Makers, but for some reason Blogger is not letting me update any of my posts. I will try to add your Midweek Makers link to my blog later today.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is fun and frustrating all at once! :)
I sure like your new puppy. (You tease, you.)
