Wow! Midweek Makers has hit another milestone - 300! While that certainly is a test of longevity, it also means I've hosted Midweek Makers for almost six years - woohoo! Break out the champagne!
While everyone is toasting this momentous occasion, I have two shares. In between making the memory quilts, I quilted this adorable Halloween cat wall hanging for my neighbor.
Along with following the printed lines of the panel, I added some fog drifts around the spooky branches, stippling in the black background, and a small bit of detail on the cat and pumpkins. Certainly fun to quilt!
My second share is from Lorelei, who purchased the Pumpkat Patch table runner pattern, stitching only a portion of it to make a pumpkin and leaf wall hanging. Here's the picture she sent:
looks great, doesn't it?? And as for those memory quilts, there's more coming on those to finish up the tutorial on Monday.
So, are you still toasting? Pause before taking another sip 'cause I'd like to highlight a few projects from last week.
