Welcome to Midweek Makers! Let's fall into sharing!
I've got some slow progress to share on my applique cat blocks. A couple of them need the freezer paper templates removed, which means cutting into the background behind the appliques to remove it.
Definitely requires some careful cutting, which I'll do when I get a chance to sit down and focus on it. Once that's done, I'll trim the blocks and figure out the layout with sashing. Still lots to do!
Next up is the announcement of the winners from the National Cat Day giveaways. Let's give a big congratulations to Doreen, the winner of a QuiltFabrication cat quilt pattern, and Lola, the winner of the Purr-fect Patchwork book. Enjoy making some cat quilts!
And last but not least, let's have a look at these pretties from last week:
from Kathy's Quilting Blog, a Pumpkins and the Beanstalk quilt,
from MMM Quilts, a very impressive 'self' round robin quilt called Fleurs,
and from Institches with Bonnie, a very simple but attractive scrap table runner.
Now it's your turn to share!
- please link directly to your post not your home page
- please link a quilt related item
- visit with the other guests and leave some comment love
Have fun!
