Welcome to Midweek Makers!
I'm making slow progress on my beach boardwalk quilt, since I'm writing the pattern and working from it at the same time to make sure all of the templates print out the right size. It's a good opportunity to check my work!
Fortunately, this concession stand block went together easily, so there's not much I that I have to change in the pattern for this one. Eventually, there will be a flag at the top, once I accumulate some scrap pieces from another block.
Of course, this block could also be an arcade game booth. Guess it depends on what's inside. Hmm, should I make some applique items to declare it further or let the quilting do the work? What do you think?
With time drawing closer to major holidays, I'm always big on decorating with seasonal quilts and table runners. I noticed a few seasonal quilts from last week's party - let's take a look!
From Not Afraid of Color, this fall themed quilt, with pumpkins and a cute bird.
Then there was a collection of seasonal quilts made by friends and clients of Grace and Peace Quilting.
Last but not least was a table topper Christmas project from DonnaleeQ.
Now on to this week's party - what do you have to share?
- please link a quilt related item
- please link directly to your post
- visit the other guests and leave some comment love
