Since goal scoring is the most exciting part of the game, my Hockey Score! block does just that. Super easy applique of only five pieces! Pick your background fat quarter and use scraps for the rest. What brings this block to life though, is the quilting. Adding diagonal lines in white thread for goal netting really brings the elements of the ice, the shot puck and the net together for a goal. Here's my suggested stitching idea:
